I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. I am also a Co-Director of CITY (Center for Urban Informatics, Technology, and Policy) at LUMS.

We are conducting a full-day workshop on Managing Inclusivity and Diversity in Large Classrooms on February 14, 2025 as part of our Erasmus-CBHE RAPID project.

Our paper “Efficient Sampling and Accurate Reconstruction of Order-Limited Spherical Signals” has been accepted for publication in the IEEE Signal Processing Letters.
I have been awarded the 2024 ACM Gordon Bell Prize for Climate Modeling for our project “Boosting Earth System Model Outputs and Saving PetaBytes in Their Storage Using Exascale Climate Emulators.” The award, considered as Nobel of Supercomputing and announced at the Supercomputing Conference, recognizes innovative parallel computing contributions to addressing the global climate crisis.
